The Eagle-305™ provides a tactical
surveillance, tracking and cueing system that can be used in combat
situations and from a
number of other platforms such as buildings, towers, and stationary
vehicles to deliver real-time, high resolution views of the
environment.
The Eagle-305™ uses advanced, proprietary
and patent-pending hardware and concepts in software command and control
functionalities, including special video-rate navigation of a
45,000 x 2,000 pixels view at 15 fps. It uses a flexible architecture that
enables distributed command and control virtualization and user-specific
operating software.
Both day and night sensors are operational at all times so that the
motion detection can be enhance by combining the two sensor’s spectral
characteristics in providing increased information
content in both the detection and analysis functions.
Video and background imagery is transmitted through secure communication means to handheld units carried by the users.
 The Eagle-305™ is an advanced, powerful, lightweight portable passive electro-optical ground persistent surveillance system. It fills a critical gap in tactical actionable intelligence at the user decision level. When fielded, it forms part of any Future Soldier System architecture as it delivers as complete as possible line-of-sight video-rate situation awareness that ultimately not only protects the user from harm, but informs on all moving elements within the short to medium range up to ten kilometers. |
